April Fool was yesterday. How many of you got yourself fooled by your friend? How did it feel to be the butt of the joke?
I suppose some jokes can be harmless fun. But what if the joke continues on and on even after April first? What if you become the laughing stock of everyone for the next week? What does that mean?
I'm actually talking about bullying. What is bullying? What do you understand by that word 'bullying'? How does bullying differ from joking about a friend or making fun of others? Is there a difference?
Have you been bullied? Or have you bullied others before? Would you know if you are being a bully?
I raised this topic because it has been another concern that I have observed in the class. Will discuss it in detail when I have your input.
Lastly, can some of you snazzy bloggers inform the other 'sleeping' members to share their thoughts. If I can name names.....Jianqiu, Wei Hao, Wen Hao, Shaoqi, Wenqi, Natalie....and the list goes on. I'm still waiting for the day that I received 42comments.

Hmm... Bullying and joking? There's a mighty great difference in them.
Bullying means "joking" in a way that is violent, consisting of fighting etc.
Bullying will cause someone to be hurt, even though some bullies think it's sort of "having fun" and "joking" type.
Though some people always get bullied, especially those who are weaker. Most people think that bullies are brave and strong, but actually there are timid in the inside and acting "brave" trying to act cool.
Even IF somebody tries to bully me, I will just walk away and ignore him or her. He or she will just walk away somehow if they see that you are not afraid.
I strongly believe that we SHOULD NOT try to challenge the bully. (like you know who in our class who always want to quarrel over small matters) Challenging the bully will result in great injuries, which is different from joking.
Joking, somehow will hurt others who are sensitive to them and make them upset, which a real joke isn't suppose to make someone crestfallen. The real joking should include humour(not rude ones) and some words that make people happy.
So, my classmates, DO NOT EVER JOKE RUDELY AND NO BULLYING!

Bullying is bullying. Bullying is a bad stuff. And of course. I'm sure everbody has been bullied and has bullied someone else before. And don't say that boys are the only ones. Girls also sometimes bully others. I don't want to mention names, but there's some girls on the class who bullies pupils. And sometimes I can't stand Kristian and his gang. Why do they always bully Zen yan. Even someone put his name as zen yan while typing something on Shawn Lee's blog. Bullying is bad, and it'll never change. There will always be bullies around

What is the big difference in bullying and joking?
Joking is just a way you can make a depressed person smile. Funny. Using words.
Bullying is when you pysically abuse someone.
And not to forget, mentally abuse someone.
Abusing mentally means, joking, but using the 'wrong' words.
People who are defenceless, get bullied, like me.
Example, H-- F--- Y---, always call me names.
But I will listen and forget.
Just like that, you do not need to keep the sorrowful baggage.
Bullies and big and popular. This sentence is wrong.
But they are TRYING to be cool.

Bullying and joking are a lot different but sometimes joking can go too far and is consider as bullying.
When somebody thinks the joke is not funny anymore than just stop but some people don't stop and carry on the joke get worse and worse, to me it is sort of bullying. Bullies always bully the weaks. Most people are scare of the bullies as they did not want to get in trouble and that is what encourage them to do more, sometimes those who are brave always talk back to the bully but most of the time the bullies and gang always win, the brave one always get beat up but i'm talking most of the time.
Joking sometimes hurt peoples feeling who are sensitive.I TOO STRONGLY BELIVE THAT DO NOT CHALLENGE A BULLY

I have not been bullied by anyone nor have I bullied someone else. If I am a bully, I would not have any friends but I have, so it means I am not a bully! Yay!
Bullying is different from joking. Joking is just making fun of others and just trying to be cheeky, but bullying is much more serious than joking.
I have been fooled in April Fool's Day by a friend in band and I do not feel comfortable.
I should not have told other people to revenge for me because it is a very wrong thing to do. I regret what i have done.

Ha I am not fooled by anyone ^^ but all these jokes have been funny. Even if I am tricked, I will also laugh.If these jokes continue, not only for one day, its not good. These are called lies. If something real had happened and your friend thought you are playing with her, disastor strikes. So, I had not lied ever since I was in P4.

Of course, nobody would like to be bullied. And luckily I did not fall for the prank my friends planted... Because I was very very alert that day so I would not get tricked by my friends...

Bullying is when the "jokes" involves violence.It is a serious offence.There are many types of bullying.The most common is insulting.There are other types like cyber-bullying and extortion of money. If someone bullies you,you will be either emotionally or physically hurt.
Bullies are actually not that strong.They only bully the weak.
They are only trying to make people think they are strong and cool.But,in the end,they are just embarrassing theirself when they are punished.If you are being bullied,tell an adult you can trust.Do not try to fight back or you might get a blue black on your eye.

Bullies are nvr stronger or cooler. They are only insecure or not condident. They also resort to bullying as they do not want to be the butt of the joke. I was bullied by othrs once as I had a unique surname from you guyz. It is harder than you can imagine when going to class where everyone treats you like an outcast when you are trying to belong. I hated it. Others I know are also bullied because of their differences. But hey, we are all human beings so we all have feelings.
Now my last word. I was a bully once as I wanted to get back at those that made fun of me. That was a case of being insecure as I did not want to get bullied. I should have ignored those taunts. Instead, I was foolish and followed the bullies. To all bullies, STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!!!!!!! I think everyone is important in making 5A a place where everyone is ethically and morally equal.

Ya, bullying involves violence too. U may think that joking is just joking, but for some people, if they feel offended by your joke, they may joke very rudely to you and then the joker and the victim might get into a fight.
So, the best thing is not to bully people or joke rudely. Just try to refrain from some joking and it may cause you a lot less trouble.
And i just noticed that some people in the class like to sabour people and if the person they sabour gets very angry, it may result to a fight too(Im talking so much about fight because it involves bullies).

Joking means trying to cheer one up or adding laughter to what's happening (although sometimes my jokes are too lame. -.-).
But what about bullying?
Bullying is just like thrusting an invisible sword through someone's heart or joking with resorting to violence. Take for example, the bigger ones like to bully the smaller ones, because they think they're so strong but the smaller ones are just weaklings.
Two types of bullying consists of via words, or through physical attacks like hitting someone or intentionally pushing one down without apologizing.
What's so fun about bullying?
Sometimes when people get bullied, they might get immensely despondent and infuriated, and they might cry you know.
Is it really that fun to see someone cry?
I guess the answer is pretty obvious.
Also, the words and pain will be engraved in the person's heart. So I really despise bullying.
And not to mention, I guess I'm always getting bullied. (-.-)

Theres such a huge difference between bullying and joking. Joking is just normal. You just tell someone something that is funny. Bullying, on the other hand, is much more serious. It means joking but in the wrong way. Maybe you get too carried away and start making fun of others. Or maybe some people think that bullying is cool and it makes people think that you are so-called "brave" and "strong". Those people actually have nothing better to do and waste their time by bullying people.
I have been so-called "bullied" before. There's this girl who always like to disturb others and act cool by bullying. Only dumb people be friends with people like that. Those people are just acting cool but actually they're cowards deep down inside.
Our class also has some bullies. They always call others names and I think it's not nice to do that. You may make those people miserable and angry. Imagine you are being called funny names by others. Will you like it? I'm sure you won't. So, hope you guys get the message.
